About the Author

Hugh Hewitt is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School. Beginning with a clerkship to Judges Roger Robb and George MacKinnon on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, he spent six years in the Reagan Administration in a variety of positions including Assistant Counsel in the White House and Special Assistant to the Attorney General of the United States. He began his radio broadcast career in 1990 with KFI in Los Angeles, his television career at LA’s KCET in 1992, and his law teaching career in 1995 at Chapman University School of Law. Professor Hewitt is the author of eight previous books, including Blog: Understanding the Information Reformation That is Changing Your World and Searching for God America, the companion volume to the PBS television series by the same name which Hewitt conceived and hosted. Hewitt has received three Emmys for his work as co-host for the ground-breaking nightly news program in Los Angeles, Life & Times, which he hosted from 1992 until his nationally syndicated radio show moved to afternoons in fall of 2001. Professor Hewitt’s talk show is heard in more than 100 cities Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 PM EST, including most of the major markets in the US including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta and far flung outposts from Alaska to Honolulu. Hewitt is also the Executive Editor of Townhall.com and blogs daily at HughHewitt.com where this book and others are available.
